I am a wastewater treatment operator for a town of about 1,500 people in KY. I am in an Associate's Degree program right now for Occupational Safety and Health, but it has been kind of slow going. What I figure you are really curious about is what spurs on posts like you will see from me, and that is something that surprisingly not many people have asked me. When I started the job I am currently in, I started spending the majority of my work day working alone. Being someone whose mind races constantly, I have to have an outlet, and I didn't really have that. I could have come home and talked my wife's ear off, but having two children, I know she gets enough of that, so I turned to social media. One morning on my drive to work, I turned the radio on and there was a conversation about politics, and it gained my interest quickly, so I thought I would look into talk radio a little bit. Well, I had heard clips of Rush Limbaugh, and his voice annoys me beyond belief, so he was out of the question, so I thought back to the last time I actually sat down and watched the news and could actually get into what they were talking about, and the only person I could remember was Glenn Beck when he was on Fox News, so I decided to look him up and see what he was up to. It was then that I discovered that he had created his own network, and it was really taking off, so I decided to listen to his show that day. I was instantly hooked! Not only to his show, but to the others that followed his, these people seemed like they really knew what was going on, and this was in September of 2012, so just after Benghazi and just before the election, so obviously there was a lot for them to all talk about. This got me interested in what was going on, because I was hearing about stuff I had never known to be true before, so as the days went by I grew more and more hungry for knowledge. Glenn tells his audience all the time, "Don't take my word for it, do the research yourself!", so I started doing just that, and come to find out, these guys were actually right in what they were saying. I began to understand Conservatism for what it truly is, and began to learn more about the history of America. My eyes began to open to a whole new world, but I also began to notice so much that was wrong with this world I was being introduced to, so I started speaking my mind about it. I lost some "friends", but gained a lot more than I lost. I hurt some feelings (as my approach to such a passionate topic hasn't always been gentle), but while I was learning about all this and sharing what I was learning, I was teaching others, and here we are today.
I am just a normal guy who has a very strong opinion that is backed by facts and history, and I enjoy sharing it with others in the hopes that this country may actually make it through this extremely dark period we are going through. Most people today have absolutely no idea how bad things are, which is why they continue. Ignorance is only blissful to the ignorant, those who are aware are still left to pick up the pieces, but that group is shrinking every day. The people who really know what it going on are becoming so discouraged, they feel there is no solution and they give up and join the ignorant, putting more weight on the shoulders of those who still have a strong enough passion for America to say the things that need to be said, and tell the truth that needs to be known for us to have a chance at a tomorrow. I am only one person, but if I affect two people, and both of those people go out and affect two others, before you know it we have an informed society that puts aside political correctness and does what needs to be done to save, and further protect our great Republic. I know my "preaching" annoys a lot of people, but I don't do it for my own image, I do it because I feel it's what needs to be done. I feel that if I know something that affects everyone, it is my obligation to share that knowledge with everyone that I can, what they do with it from that point is completely up to them.
I hope this answers at least a few of your questions, however if you have anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. I am an open book for anyone who is willing to take the time to read it.
