Adrienne Farricelli has been working professionally with dogs now for over a decade. She is currently a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant. In 2006 she started working for an accredited animal hospital, and in 2007 she started volunteering for the local shelter fostering and training pets in need of temporary homes and assisting vets working for the shelter.

She holds dual certification in dog training. In 2010, after undergoing 219 hours of apprehentship under a master dog trainer, she got certified by the Italian Association for Dog Trainers and Canine Consultants. After giving classes in basic and advanced obedience and spending the summer teaching Canine Musical Freestyle, she then obtained certification by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CPDT-KA)

She is a force-free trainer using scientifically based training methods focusing on the rewarding world of positive reinforcement training. CCPDT requires her to continue her education, so she is often attending seminars to keep up-to-date with the latest dog training and behavior modification trends. After owning Yellow Creek Dog Training for 2 years, she opened Rover's Ranch Home, boarding and training in 2011 and her own writing company, A to Z Dog Publishing where she produces articles, books and dog related videos.

Adrienne has attended a college course on canine theriogenology from University of Minnesota and a course on dog emotion and cognition from Duke University. In 2015, she enrolled in an academically advanced science-based program and is working her way towards a diploma in canine behavior science.

Sinced 2005, Adrienne has been a published dog blogger and writer for several publications. Her work has appeared on USA Today, Daily Puppy, Nest Pets, Paw Nation and several print publications such as Every Dog magazine and the APDT Chronicle of the Dog.

Recently, she has contributed a chapter in the book " Puppy Socialization - An Insider's Guide to Dog Behavioral Fitness" by Caryl Wolff and including contributions from Dr. Ian Dunbar, Dr. Carmen Battaglia, Dr. Ed Bailey, Dr. Michael Fox and Peter and Nancy Vollmer.

Adrienne currently lives in Arizona with her beloved Rottweilers, Petra and Kaiser. She has worked on earning titles in Rally obedience and Canine Musical Freestyle. She also owns her cats Mocha and Mousse, and 15 chicken, which by the way, are also clicker trained!
