Thank you for taking an interest in who I am and what I’m about.
I’ve been writing since I was a kid. Early on it was mostly to amuse myself; a venting, if you will, of creative urges that would otherwise have caused my mind to explode. Among the career opportunities I’ve pursued have been several in the publishing industry. My first published book came as a result of being the Production Manager for a printing company that had among its many clients a magazine called COMAL Today. I got to know their editor, Len Lindsey, with whom I chatted about computer programming. He was impressed with my knowledge at such a young age (as well as the position I held with their publisher) and he invited me to write articles for the magazine, and then encouraged me to write a book. I wrote it, they published it, and I was on my way. I’ve been writing professionally at least part-time ever since.
Much of that writing has been about woodworking, furniture design and furniture construction.
I’m very happy living a simple life as a hillbilly wannabe, I derive great joy from my marriage to Marie and my relationship with God. As long as we can pay the bills and put a little food on the table I’m fine with that.
