Get your adventure started on a 125-mile traverse of New York's wild Adirondack Park!
Bill Ingersoll has hiked and backpacked in the wildernesses of Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, and California, but feels most at home in the grand forests of the Adirondacks. He became a co-author for the Discover the Adirondacks series of hiking guidebooks in 2000 and has now become the series' publisher. In addition, his articles and photos have appeared in Adirondack Explorer, Adirondack Sports & Fitness, and Adirondack Life magazines. You will find him exploring the North Country with his dog Lexie in all four seasons, by trail, snowshoe, and canoe.
