I have a wife who loves to run. I don't, but I do love music. As I can't run with her (OK...she kicks my butt!), I've spent a lot of time researching the best music I can find to help her running. Music can actually increase your performance, especially with running. But, if you run to music that is too slow, you can subconsciously slow down to the beat of the song. Many people love to run to "Eye of the Tiger", but at 109 bpm, it is way too slow. If you are looking for songs that are inspirational, about running, or at least fun with a great beat (no "19th Nervous Breakdown", "Loser", "Blister in the Sun", etc.)…you can find over 30 hours of motivational running music at bold pace music.

I also plan to post other types of music too and I'm open to suggestions...   Here are some favorites:

XTC, Elvis Costello, The Waterboys, Spoon, Gorillaz, Kate Bush, Hoodoo Gurus, Beck, The Housemartins, The Long Ryders, The Church, Arctic Monkeys, The Decemberists, Broken Bells, The Who, The Kinks, The Blue Nile, Suzanne Vega, Belle & Sebastian, The Smiths, Camera Obscura, New Order, The Kills, The Clash, Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads, The Shins, Radiohead.
