Tiyasha is a newcomer in Hub Pages, hopes to be a regular writer henceforth.
As a child she was so fond of Ruskin Bond that all the stories she wrote were on mountain life ; she was yet to see the mountains though! She ran around with her friends , sneaking into HAUNTED HOUSES (houses left empty by the owners for holiday trips perhaps), scaling walls to find adventure where there was hardly any, and wrote tales of horror.
She did film studies for a while and got associated with television productions and ad film-making agencies.
She is a voracious reader, a film buff who can watch films from all over the world for hours at a stretch. She is fond of Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, Bernard Shaw, Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie and a great admirer of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
She writes children’s stories, fantasy novels and is presently working on a few short stories.
She is a Woody Allen fan and swears by Charles Chaplin and Satyajit Ray.
She is a great cook, an innovative baker.
