"What is truth?" - Pontius Pilate. (John 18:38).
Merely asking this question will get you all kinds of answers, but who is right?
Pontius Pilate asked Jesus this question just before he was scourged, beaten and a crown of thorns was smashed into his skull. Then the raceous crowd called for his crucifixion, and Pilate complied, but not without protesting that Jesus was innocent.
Why was an innocent man put to death? What was Jesus really guilty of, if anything? What is truth? Do we really know what truth, is? Why did an innocent man forgive the people that murdered him?
Perhaps the truth is stranger than fiction.
