I am an energized Grandma. I use my "senior-hood" to my best advantage by writing and publishing my stories and poetry.
My motto, "Its never too late", came into being when I found out that I am also an artist. My work has been shown at several art galleries. I am also publicity chariman of the Utah County Art Board.
I began playing the flute when I was twelve years old, and continue to do so. I play at our summer farmer's market and volunteer at various senior centers. Music is a huge part of my life. I play with CD accompaniment and play all genres of music. I especially love swing and jazz.
All these things bring me joy and fulfillment. Another great part of my life is my association with friends. I belong to our church women's group and also a couple of "out for lunch bunches". I love the association I have with the seniors I have met at the senior centers where I play. I attend a water color class for seniors and have made many friends there. People are an important part of my life.
I also value my religion and worship weekly as well as continually through my relationship with my God.
Well, I hope this gives you an appropriate look at me and my life. At the age of 72 I have done much, discovered much, and live life to the fullest.
