Doug Stranahan believes that the success of any sales organization is determined by managements ability to recruite, select and keep good  people.  In his role as a trainer, manager and consultant he has worked with all sizes of companies and sales organizations to help them build successful sales teams.

In 1977, he was hired by one of Michigan largest real estate companies to build a sales and mangement training program, which he did and served as the President of Your M.B.O., Inc. until he joined CENTURY 21 of Michigan as their V.P. of Sales and Management Development.  For the next fifteen years Doug worked in the CENTURY 21 system and retired as it General Manager of the Mid-West Division.

His experience and real estate, insurance and other related sales organizations have allowed him to focus on what works and how to get results.  It is his belief that the key to building a successful sales team starts with making the right selection decision when recruiting and interviewing people.  

In 1980 he co-founded a company called Recruiting, Selection & Retention, Inc. and produced a tool that could be used in the interview to help Brokers and Managers make better selection decisions.  That tool is known as the Potential Performance Pro.file and has been used by a number of real estate offices for over thirty years.

Today, Doug does a limited amount of consulting work, some sales training and promotes the use of the Potential Performance Pro.file as a tool for better decision making.
