Ethel Bustamante’s work is the culmination of many years of experimentation to achieve a style that communicates her expressions and her spirit in all elements of life. Her work, abstract-realism, emphasizes the meaning of the human existence in both the spiritual and natural essence. Her canvases are full of energy and vivacity to create an atmosphere that reflects her soul.
She has exhibited in the United States and in Italy. Most recently she was invited to show her work at The Women's Federation for World Peace - Women's Peace Initiative for the Middle East and South Asia in Capitol Hill Club in Washington, DC.
Her work was recently featured in "World and I", a publication by the Washington Times, in the May/June 2006 Issue.
