CJ would describe herself as a simple creature. There isn't a game of Scrabble she will turn down or a Yahtzee pad unmarked. She enjoys her craft projects and painting, remodelling her home, photography, and curling up with a good book and a cup of joe. You will often find her in her garden tending to her flowers and vegetables. Her ambition in life is to simply be a good person; to help others and to be the best wife and mother a family could ask for.
Recently, she celebrated 13 years of marriage, to her very own "Captain America". They relish in the simple things in life, such as completing the daily crossword puzzles found in newspapers, taking long walks- hand in hand and playing Canasta, Dutch Blitz and Spades. The couple has a particular soft spot for animals, especially dogs, and share 3 fur-babies. They have one human kiddo who is their only "son"-shine and he does make them happy, even when skies are gray.
As a family, they enjoy DIY projects, camping and volunteering in their community. It's been a long journey with infertility and CJ and the "Cap'n" are hoping to add to their little nest through adoption. Their belief is that everyone needs to be loved; to have a family and a place to call home.
