I live in beautiful South Africa on a farm next to the Vaal river. I am bursting with the urge to write and to be heard. I love a variety of topics if one has to call it that. Simply put I love life. I love beautiful things, beautiful people, and conversely it saddens me deeply when the planet and its people are threatened in any way or by anybody.
I love teaching, motorsport, music, painting, writing, poetry, business, property, fishing, farming and all things impossible.
I always took writing for granted as my late mother was an avid writer of children stories and articles and our house was always flooded with books and comics. I realise now that writing is a small part of my DNA.
My love for South Africa, its history and its future is the main flavour of my everyday thoughts. We come from a miraculous change from apartheid in 1994, and the birth pains of a new unified nation is very stimulating to experience. Injustices of more than 100 years ago committed by the British in our country affected me personally, and the conflicting emotions make for interseting writing ideas.
