I'm an engineer descended from a long line of sheep-stealers, rogues and tall tale spinners. I was conscripted into the writing trade at a young age, forced to churn out technical manuals for enumerable high tech gizmos and geehaws in the garrets and garages of Silicon Valley.

In my free time, when the muse smiles, Hubpages are my outlet. I write about my loves, hates, passions and peeves.

How can Hubpages benefit you as a writer? Well first it's a dynamic and supportive community of writers, in my opinion the best on the web. You're spoiled with tools that make publishing a snap - no need  to learn HTML, CSS or any of those other complicated acronyms.  Best of all you're earning while you're learning while building a portfolio of your best content.

If you enjoy writing or would like to start writing and publishing I suggest you read Hemingway, Faulkner and Dostoyevsky then come back and click on the link below. I'm kidding -  just click on the link now to get started. A jouney of a thousand hubs starts with a single click. Take your first step in a lifetime of  writing adventures now.

Click here to Join Hubpages. (It's free.)
