I am a Christian. That doesn't mean I am perfect. It means I am forgiven by the One who is perfect. I love the Lord and want to be more like Him. I fail greatly but am so glad He allows U-turns and second chances in life. I wish to honor Him with my words.
I greatly enjoy meeting new people and making friends.
I consider myself a writer; scribbler is actually what I call myself. You can also find my scribblings on www.faithwriters.com under Lisa Benefield.
I have to create beautiful things. I feel the need to create with written words or with yarn and fabric. My obsession is crafting, in particular, making purses. I am very much into crochet and sewing. My husband calls me a yarn addict. My pulse speeds up and my mouth goes dry whenever I go through the yarn aisle at the discount store. Actually, I am that way when looking at fabric too.
We have a chihuahua that adopted us soon after we got married. She's more like our child than our dog.
I will read just about anything I can get my hands on. My hubs are on varied subjects. I often wake in the middle of the night with an idea and start scribbling on the notepad I keep nearby. I carry two notebooks with me everywhere. I never know when a great idea will strike or how much paper it will need.
