I am a visual artist who enjoys writing and combining the written word with painting and other media.
For each special occasion I search for gifts that my adult brain injured son will find compelling and many of them are featured here.
These caps are made for fashion but they work stunningly well to cover chemo bald heads.

My adult child's TBI propelled me into the role of advocate. I used my artwork as a tool.
Wiring our new house was a landmark feat for me, as it was my first major step outside the traditional homemaking role I adopted in the '60s. But this was the '80s and the time was right.
Why use the term "adopt" instead of saying "getting or buying" a dog? Why look for a dog at a Shelter?
