Megan Tracy is a volunteer child advocate as a Guardian ad Litem. She earned her A.A in Public Affairs from the Community College of the Air Force, B.S. in Forensic Science from University of Maryland University College, G.C.R in Criminal Justice Management from University of Maryland University College, and M.A. in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. During her volunteer work, Megan works with children who are in foster care because they have been abused, neglected or abandoned by their biological parents. She visits the children monthly and submit reports for the juvenile court to determine the best needs of the children. In her spare time she enjoys reading (she's read 100 books already in 2014), woodworking and research. Megan spent seven years in the United States Air Force as a Radio and Television Broadcaster/Public Affairs Specialist. During her time at Barksdale AFB, LA, she wrote weekly stories for the base newsletter and has been published in the Bossier Press-Tribune half a dozen times. Additionally, she was selected by the Department of Defense to contribute a short story on an Airman who was injured in a bombing in Afghanistan. When asked about why she wanted to be a freelance writer, she said that she enjoys writing and being able to provide valuable information to readers is what motivates her. Megan currently resides in NC with her fiancé Daryl and their four-legged children Bela (dog) and Chloe (cat).
