Roy O. McClish is Broker/Owner of ROM Real Estate & Consultants, Inc. DBA Greater Home Loans. He has personally originated over $500 Million in residential home loans since 2001. Prior to his career in Real Estate, Roy managed several hotels in the San Diego area where customer service was always the highest priority. However, family and community have always been important to him keeping his busy.
Mr. McClish attended school in San Diego receiving his AA degree in Business from Grossmont College, a BS in Finance from San Diego State University, and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the honor society in business. He holds certifications as a VA specialist and tax analyst in the mortgage industry.
Raised in San Diego, California, by his Mexican mother and Irish father, Mr. McClish dealt with the pressures placed on bi-racial families growing up in the 70’s.
Mr. McClish currently sits on the School Site Advisory Council at his daughters’ school. His passion for the Latino community had him serving as past-President of the Lemon Grove District English Language Advisory Committee. The DELAC committee works together with the school district to address the needs of all students whose primary language at home is not English; a vital call to action to decrease the Latino population high school drop-out rate.
His experience as a young step-father, father of two, divorced father, dating father, remarried father introducing a step-mother, new father of two, father of boys, father of girls, rich father, and poor father; prepared him perfectly to advocate for our children to have their fathers involved. In his role as past committee chair for Male Involvement at Neighborhood house, a $100 million non-profit, Mr. McClish advocated the importance of men in the lives of their children. As a parent representative, he was elected to sit on the board of directors.
Roy McClish resides in San Diego, California, with his family where he stays active coaching and playing soccer, dabbling with the piano and guitar, reading, and being a father.
