I'm a bit of an enigma to the world around me as I occupy two different niches in life. I am disabled, but I am not the common misconception of a disabled person: a drooling invalid in the corner who doesn't speak. But at the same time I'm not the 'average' twenty-something either. I occupy a realm of disabled but not really. And I seek to provide an uncensored look into my life; the life of a young woman with the mental capacity of a twenty-something and the ability to care for herself as well as a toddler.
I'm Sam, I have cerebral palsy leaving me wheelchair bound, co-dependant and kind of pissed off about it. Being born with a disability doesn't make it easy it just makes my life, my version of normal.
