Welcome to my Sanctum -
I’d like to introduce myself, however, as you can see, I am here in disguise. I write under a pseudonym to allow myself greater freedom of expression, in all forms. It is my nature to be somewhat of a lone-wolf or reclusive at times but if called for, I can also put on quite the show--being both outgoing and outspoken.
For most of my life, I have been a voracious reader; never able to completely satisfy my appetite for knowledge. I actively search for ways in which to expand my experience of the world and personal growth. HubPages, I hope, will be one source to do this.
A journal has been my greatest confidant for many years, and woven through my deepest contemplation, I’ve collected what I guess would be categorized as poems. Sometimes my internal dialogue becomes labyrinthine and I need to send it outside of myself in order to untangle the web. This is my greatest therapy and if you read certain writings here, you'll see what I mean.
I am fascinated by psychology, especially of a criminal nature but also the human spirit. As of late, I’ve begun a personal journey to explore not only what makes me tick but what other average-people, have stirring within their souls.
Nature and all its wondrous complexities is another area I’m sure to explore. I am passionate about animals, both exotic and domestic. Their behaviors, ways in which they communicate with us, their health needs and fight for survival, all keep me involved in rescue work and taking part in crucial campaigns to save those species at risk.
Hopefully, I’ll be granted permission to get to know a great many of you, as well as getting to know more about who I really am or was meant to be. If you have a grain of interest in anything I have to say, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I believe in trying to learn something new, each and every day, whether by my own experiences and mistakes or through the wisdom of others.
I’m really looking forward to the time I’ll spend here!
If you'd like to know more about me, you can read the HubPages Blog from 6/11/2012 -
