I've always been fascinated by helping others. In 2004, I started my Public Service career as a Volunteer Firefighter. It wasn't long after joining my local fire company, I became an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).
In 2012, I left the fire company to move closer to my work. My husband and I worked in another town and the 1 hour commute to both our jobs had taken a toll on us. Soon we found ourselves building onto our EMT education and became EMT-I's. We have been running as a volunteer EMT-I's since 2013.
While half way through Medic school, I had resigned my job as a Victim's Advocate. I had become a full time student, wife, and volunteer. My husband had supported us through the last half of school.
I've spent the last couple of years being a dedicated volunteer serving my community and a supportive wife. I have always been fascinated by "Work-From-Home Gurus" from the super filthy rich to the "mommy & daddy" bloggers that have been able to sustain a living online. I've dabbled in a couple direct selling companies such as Avon & It Works, however, I'm not direct seller material.
What I have found is that I wanted to help others in their search for Work From Home information and resources. So I've joined the ranks of my fellow peers and started a website/blog!
I don't have much time for a lot of hobbies, but I do love to travel! Even if it's just an overnight trip to Rocky Gap Resort in Flintstone, MD or setting sail on a short Carnival Cruise! I need a break since dealing with life & death all the time on an ambulance causes me burn out.
