Pleased to meet you. My name is W. B. Isley (William for short.) I hope you enjoy the Hubs my wife and I post. Her user name is F. K. Isley. I built the shelves I'm standing in front of, by the way. They are in our pantry.
The coolest thing happened to me, izettl asked me for an interview here on Hubpages. I'm humbled that she would ask me, so, here is the interview link for your reading pleasure.
I like playing with words. I have reached the level of smart "Alec" with my word play. When someone calls me that I say, "Thank you, I practice." Some have said, "You can stop practicing now."
I have been very busy in my short 40 years on this planet during this lifetime. I have the pleasure of having a 1 in 500 case of ADHD (Attention Dialed to a Higher Dimension.) I grew up on a small farm in Southwest Missouri. I 'was' a "good little Baptist Boy," and food addict for most of my formative years. Kept me out of a lot of trouble though. My universe view has expanded many many times since then.
I joined the Air Force and saw ... Abilene, Texas for eight years. I gained a 7 year chip for abstinence in Overeaters Anonymous and much therapy while in Abilene. I was a professional computer nerd for two banks during a ten year period in Lubbock, TX. I started working on the background for a six book Sci Fi series too (I'm still working on it, been real busy with other things.)
I got married late in 2007 to a wonderful woman. Although this is the first time we've been married this lifetime, we have had many encounters in previous lives and fit together very well this time. Many people think we have been married for many many years this time. An interesting note: we have not had a fight to this day. If I'm thinking it she is saying or doing it, if she is thinking it I'm saying or doing it. We finish each others sentences. It is very nice.
We started building a home back where I grew up while we were still living in Texas in 2008. Moved into the two room suite upstairs (on ground level) in 2009 while my dad and I worked on filling the structures we had someone else build. We moved into the house (underground) late in 2010. I have now started working on my writing again with the help of my wonderful wife. We look forward to sharing many wonderful stories of our life together and the previous twenty or so before we met.
