A quarter of the population is dead. Whoops.
That theme song is ridiculous.
I'm a 31-year old video game-playing, comic book-reading, bad movie-watching, professional wrestling-loving, french fry-eating Christian husband and pet-owner.
What games do I play? I hesitate to call myself a retro gamer because, well, I don't play a whole lot of those. I have a deep appreciation of old school games (and I still own my original NES), but these days most of what I play comes from the last generation or two. I prize RPGs above all else, but I also enjoy some first-person shooters and beat-em-ups.
What comics do I read? Mostly Batman now, and that is pretty limited to what Scott Snyder and Grant Morrison write. Looking at my shelf, I see TPBs for Powers, Sin City, 30 Days of Night, The Boys, The Question, Invincible, a bunch of Alan Moore stuff, and Brubaker's run on Captain America.
What bad movies do I watch? I will literally watch any bad horror or sci-fi movie. Manos? Seen it three times. The Beast of Yucca Flats? Twice. The Room? Only watched it once so far, but will watch it again when my wife is in the mood for it. Those 50-movie packs you can get on Amazon for $15? Love it.
What wrestling do I watch? Nothing current. If I want to watch something of good quality, I'll go with WWF/E circa 2000. If I am looking for background noise, well, pretty much everything WCW ever put out will work. The mess that is World War III or the Powers that Be never goes out of style.
Finally, and probably most importantly, what kind of french fries do I eat? Any. All. My Facebook page at this moment has 82 pictures of different french fries that I have eaten. Fast food, steak, shoestring, waffle, curly, whatever. 9 thumbs up.
