I'm not making money on the internet - yet. I'm not a couch potato either. I'm working hard to improve my knowledge and skills. As for buying ebboks - they're all over the place. People promise to tell their secrets but most of the time I find I would be paying for what I already know (I've seen many of these ebooks and reviews are available). Making money on the internet is hard work - I don't think you can make money by just staring at the screen - unless you have put in lots of work beforehand.

Hmmm. I would have thought a "guru" would turn up in search engines but when I did a Yahoo or Google search for a "sit there and stare money making e-book, I got nothing. Except, of course, this hub. Something to think about I suppose.

Bonnie, try doing a search for "What is satire?" or "define: irony". I am loving how many people think this is serious.
I guess you just hit a site where people are smart enough to do some research before falling for just anything. Most of us here have heard all of the "get rich and do nothing" offers that are being thrown around the internet. And most of us realize that you won't get rich without hard work, regardless of what opportunity you decide on.

I agree, Shirley. So far I see 2 who have asked for more information, which has not yet been given. The info isn't even in the profile as to this astounding book. I guess it is also lost in the SE's with all the rest of the "get rich easy" materials.

Well if it is meant as a comical mock then that is fine but it would be beneficial to those who are reading to post a note at the bottom to this extent. I did miss the smal sentence at the bottom about the low quality articles because I rarely look at links on posts like this. I almost marked it as spam to begin with.
Funride, you know how much we get scammed and pammed in this site so naturally we are always watching for the "garbage" hubs like that. If I have misunderstood this to be real when it is meant to be comical then I certainly have no problem apologizing for the comments. Just give us a heads up next time!

Lol. there is no such thing as sit there, do nothing and earn money. You have to work at whatever work you do:) Plus, I believe that in whatever work you do, you have to enjoy doing - the self fulfilment of what you do is what is most important. (yes most of us start working because we have to make ends meet - but if you have something that you think you have always aspired to work in - then why not go for it and try your best to get it?) ... if you see what I mean..??:) - be down to earth - but always aim high:)

Ok, I was had on the joke part. That is mostly due to the fact that I see so many of these "offers" that aren't jokes. The sad part is the number of people that will pay for it in search of something better than what they have. Since I devote a lot of my time trying to help educate people on how to look for the right types of opportunities, I do tend to get a bit overzealous when I think there is a scammer in the midst LOL.
I do think, however, that it would be so much more productive if we had more people trying to help educate people on this type of thing rather than mocking them since this could cause some to feel foolish. Many people fall for things like this because they are new to the internet, new to business opportunities or simply at a desperate time in their life. If they are made to feel foolish, they may never seek out the information they need to learn what to avoid and how to look for new opportunities.
Of course, this is my humble opinion, which I know doesn't count for much but I just think we have the ability to actually help some learn how to properly look for business opportunities.

bonnie, I guess I should just come out and tell you that I was trying to make fun of people who write worthless get rich quick articles. I want to mock those people and make them feel foolish. I assume that is your goal too since your first couple posts (when you thought I was serious) were sort of derisive. I never in my wildest imagination thought that people would think I was being serious. That is a secondary, unintentional mockery. I plan on making other articles like this because they make some people laugh.

I found out that this hub was in fact a reply to a request made by someone who wanted to know how to make a thousand dollars a month on the internet. It makes me wonder who will be the work force when everyone is on the internet making so much money.
Who will build our houses? And, my goodness, who will nanny our children!!!!?
