I started trying once again to eat healthy. I've gained a pound a month for the last year and a half. So easy to do. A freind recommended this diet for health reasons more than weight loss. He lost a bunch of weight eating tons of food. I've really cut back what I eat, but not enough. It's been 5 days and I'm still at the same weight. I swear that I have to starve myself to lose weight. It's so difficult. Men do have it easier there.
I'm going to stay on this diet for health reasons, just to see how it goes. I'm not eating any meat, fish, dairy or soy at the moment. It's not so bad. I love carbs and I have been using rice milk in my cereal. Eating potatoes, meatless chili, stirfry, cereal, wheat bread with sugar free fruit spread, cereal, pasta, rice, did I mention cereal? I eat it all the time. Cheerios and Wheaties at the moment.
I'm off to the library to pickup John McDougall's cookbooks. I can't whole- heartly recommend the diet yet, but at least it's a life style change that I can live with for 5 days now. better than most.
