Essential Monsters...

 

... is an Oakland, California based company, a forerunner of the steampunk fashion revolution. Essential Monsters makes t-shirts, hoodies, bags, pin sets, wallets and other one-of-a-kind goodies. Some items are currently for sale at the website. Essential Monsters has worked with the Melvins on limited edition tour tees, codesigned tour tees and tote bags... and they even have made tees for Aerosmith to wear on tour in Japan!


Essential Monsters designs the images, burns the screens, hand inks the items, makes the pins and hand sews details and tags.

Essential Monsters offers free first class shipping for domestic orders, but priority mail shipping is available for an extra cost. California state residents must pay sales tax. They do ship abroad also. You need to email Essential Monsters before you place your order with the items you would like and to calculate shipping costs.

Essential Monsters has a wide range of interests. Great subject-matter.  A little history (and some images) of the Freak/Side Show would have been fun and interesting.  Is that what all the links were for? 

One suggestion? You can delete this if you don't agree: I almost surfed away from this hub after reading the first paragraph, because I thought it was finished.  So much advertising it distracted from, and almost hid, what little text there was.
