Hot Diggity Dogger

Wow and Zowie!

What could be more fun to eat or easier to make than the all-American, ubiquitous hot dog? Is there any other food more associated with outdoor entertainment, ballgames, barbecues, relatives (invited and otherwise) and good times? Hot dogs have been around for a very long time and have become a permanent part of American pop culture. Until now, however, little has changed over the years in their mode of preparation.

But now (trumpets and applause please), there is an even quicker and easier way than before to make hot dogs with accompanying buns and keep them warm too! This has been made possible with the introduction of the most innovative toaster to hit the market in recent times; the pop-up Hot Diggity Dogger.

Although quite clever in design, the Hot Diggity Dogger is really very simple to both understand and operate (two factors, which one can only hope for). There is a metal basket in the middle, which holds two hotdogs. The buns fit into the semi-circular slots on either side of the Hot Diggity Dogger. Simply push down the starter and wait a few minutes. Before your wondering eyes will soon appear two cooked hot dogs and two nicely-toasted buns (but not ballgames, barbecues, families and friends, at least not for now).

You may have to experiment a few times with the variable heat control to find the perfect toasting ratio of browned hot dogs to toasted buns, and some brands of hot dogs may not fit properly into the basket provided. The Hot Diggity Dogger is worth the investment, however, if you love hotdogs and eat them often.

As far as your pocket goes, the Hot Diggity Dogger ranges in price from $29.99 to $59.95.

Hi Paul-

Sounds like a good idea becasue it's not likely most people will have one.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Marjorie
