Is it better to use a free blogging service or set up a registered domain

I currently blog on 5 sites. They are activerain.com, hubpages.com, yuwie.com, blogger.com, and ehow.com and in each of these sites, I do not pay to blog. With that said, I also have my own domain that is The Mortgage and More Blog that is a domain that I own. Having these 6 sites gets me a lot of expose and provides a lot of google juice because ultimately I tie them all together.

With that said, it does not stop there. I am on naymz, LinkedIn, Myspace, and a number of other sites that draw juice to my name.

So, in closing, to me, it seems that with all that is free out there and if you do it right, you can get and keep your name on the main page of google each and every time. And with that being said, that is how people find you.

I wholeheartedly agree! I get a lot out of the free sites. If there is some revolutionary development that can measureably increase my business, then I would probably give it a shot; until then, free is for me!

Rich, thanks for stopping in. I really can not see pouring money into something that I can do for free.
