Valentines is like Christmas or
New year's eve, or windy nights
or rainy days, fantastic sunsets, sunrises,
apart from that
alone is quite comfortable,
pleasing, satisfying...

Valentines is that kind of Day, forget Christmas and all that.., except Easter Monday... for obvious reasons.... definitely maudlin as Valentines approaches...

I love her having parts, favourite parts, even dead parts. I loved the ambiguity of surrender. whose... hers? the anonymous poets? both? I like that just how it is. unclear. so much of life is just like that.
I like the minutes stated so specifically, as kind of a contrast for the ambiguity.
and penance. I know that one too.
I don't find it maudlin, not the poem and I have to say not V day which I don't care about. I don't really do dayz. probably a good thing too~
