I read this fantastic Hub called Sexy-Womens-Corsets by Djtphn1 and the words of this poem occurred to me.. thanks very much Djtphn....
It is always difficult to know when to finish a poem.... this one was no different.. except i have a few more lines if anyone would like to hear them ?

the corset felt alive
on impulse I petted it, its owner purred
i looked at all the silk rope
and the knots and thought...
this could be tedious
unless it has buttons at the front
I turned her over eagerly
only to be disappointed

I did get mixed up with one when I was a tad younger. Thankfully they disapeared off the horrizon

I kind of like how it ends. It lets the reader fill in the 'disappointment' with their own life experience of bedroom follies :)
Great poem! I love wearing the old-school boned Victorian corsets. Expensive, but well worth the sexy figure. I've taught my husband well in the ways of traditional corset removal :)

I enjoy your wit. Now if only I could finish my corset. A corset is like those plastic wrappers on new CD cases. You are so excited to enjoy the contents if you could just get the thing unwrapped.
Hi Moonmaiden ... thankyou, great comparison I always have to resort to the breadknife to get cd cases open... the little silver tab is micro size and comes away on its own... who designs this packaging for customer experience...
