55An Introduction To 21st Century Christian Perspectives
It is my intention to present chapter by chapter my recent written work regarding Christian Perspectives in the 21st century on this blog.
It is my contention that we have lost the meaning and understanding of Christian Culture within the modern Western mindset. Furthermore it appears that there is an ever increasing widespread ignorance of things Christian in western society which the modern mind regards as out dated and non relevant.
Is this attitude self generated or is it political correctness propaganda absorbed and unwittingly owned by the modern collective intellect?

INTRODUCTION Most people think that a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ. This is a simple explanation that most Christians themselves would endorse and accept as true. However when this explanation is scrutinised from ignorant, secular or atheistic perspectives the margin for misinformation, misunderstanding, falsehood and trite religious ideologies expand to obfuscate the modern mind. The underlying reason for this is that the founding document of Christianity remains unread and disregarded. In fact the vast majority of Christians also haven’t read the Bible. Therefore when considering the popular preponderance of ignorance about Christianity it is not surprising that the modern mindset harbours negative and oftentimes hostile attitudes towards Christianity. Without knowledge and understanding modern thinking will remain hostage to ignorance and therefore unable to appreciate or value anything Christian. What future lies ahead for the western world if we sentence Christianity to death? This book attempts to lift Christianity out of the dark and illustrate that it is has been the light of western culture and development and will continue to be into and beyond the 21st century. .
