Decoding Precognition - If You Can See Into the Future, Do You Realize You Don't Know What You’re Seeing?
61
Introduction
What is precognition?
The Dictionary defines this as:
pre·cog·ni·tion
1. Knowledge of a future event or situation, esp. through extrasensory means.
But have you ever stopped to think about this "skill" or "ability" and the realities of being able to do it?
I have certain beliefs about this as follows:
- 1. People can and do see future events all the time
- 2. They do so in dreams, in flash-forwards (random E.S.P.), and other random events
- 3. People are completely ignorant of what they see and don't realize "WHY" they can never make heads or tails about the dream, precognition, or future event.
- 4. People who do "realize" they are seeing the future have no idea what they are seeing because what they believe is out of context.
(This next section is for analytical thinkers, you may skip it if you wish it is just hypothetical thinking questions)
Interesting questions about the future: (this may hurt to think about.)
- When I make a choice and enter a path/time line/multidimensional based on that choice, am I meeting the same people in a different reality, based on their choices made in their reality? Or are they the same people and I'm seeing them in the reality they would have been in had they made similar choices?
- Or do all realities exist at the same time and regardless of my choice they all happen but I'm only consciously aware of the one I'm currently in?
- Is the universe singular or am I really billions of clones of myself and based on my choices my consciousness moves through different time lines seemingly seamless?
- Is all time happening at once and its not time that changes but my consciousness moving through it like a rat in a maze, and my choices change the dynamics of how I see the maze? If this is true are the future and past just locations on the grid I can visit simply by making choices in a strategic order?
- Do my choices change which version/multi-versal personality of my friends I encounter? In other words if I make one choice do I run into one "version" of time space where my friend is in, and if I make another choice is this person I see tomorrow (same person) from a completely different reality? I.e. if I made a different choice would my friend be from a different dimension of time space? Thus does my friend exist in both realities as different people and do I meet them based on what choices I make? (Did that give you a headache to try to wrap your head around?)
- Is time a myth created to control power, solidified in belief systems and physical and psychological evolutional programming that makes it dam near impossible to (but not completely impossible) escape the solid state of time space? Can someone travel through time if they just believe they can like on the movie "somewhere in time"?
The Future's appeal is based on CONTRAST of today's world, perceptions, and reality.
This was a good idea but the reality was NO laces..
The General View of Seeing the Future:
I'm really going to confuse you here. I'm going to show you what I see then I'll explain it next.
We enjoy movies that show the high tech concepts of the future, back to the future painted a pretty accurate picture of our future from the 80's perspective. Although slightly different (no flying cars) the computers of today and our lifestyles are pretty close to the way the movie painted it. When we watched that movie we marveled at the cool gadgets and intriguing concepts of the normal life in the future.
I wonder sometimes if that future came about the way it did because of books and movies like this. Alot of our world is created in real time based on choices we make. But its far more complex than that. You have to figure each person has a multidimensional infinite set of choices, and based on what choice you make you enter the alternate reality "time line" that that choice pans out to. Every choice changes everything. But I wont get too deep just yet. Let's talk about the basics of general perception and I'll ease into those topics more fluidly. (for fun here's a site that claims to know how the back to the future "flux capacitor" sends the delorian through time.. pretty cool read)
When people think about the future they marvel in the opportunities this information could present for them. They think about being able to act on said information with such precision as if what they will see will be completely clear and in context. Have you ever thought that just seeing the lotto numbers would change everything about what you would do next? This would then imply the "butterfly effect" (butterfly flap his wings here tornado goes off on other side of the world in reaction) would change the very numbers that would be played. (The domino reaction effect/butterfly effect)
The world is like a breathing energetic organism. Light and energy focused at different densities. Molecules compressed or decompressed create matter and so forth. The power of our mind is amazing as it holds your universe into an apparent coherent singularity. (even though its anything but).
You have to realize time is a force, created in our mind, breathing only when we allow it to control our reality. Time is relative.. Einstein proved that time doesn't exist, it is us that make it exist and the held belief solidifies it. It is only the collective sort of "agreement" of it's existence and our devices built to measure and keep time real that we think of time "as" our reality when true reality exists outside of time space.
We've connected time to the weather, the sun (dusk to dawn is split into slices of minutes/hours/seconds etc..) which gives it even more belief solidity even if the devices we use like clocks are not around we can mentally measure time through these things. But what happens when your locked in a dark box? ahh doesn't time eventually disappear when the external world that your familiar with is no longer stimulating you?
It is not seeing the future that is magic.. everyone can do this and we often do, and ignore it as incoherent thoughts.. Seeing it is easy, understanding it is the true magic. We'll get more into this later. It's funny nobody questions our thoughts of the past, because we can relate to the events and see them through the filter of "time" or movement through reality whereby time is the recording infrastructure making the memory seem more coherent..
but thoughts we get that seem new and different and that we cannot link to or associate with something familiar we tend to think of as abstract.. Why is that? And what is "the future"? Is it the time coming? Is it one slice of the many multidimensional realities that are possible?
Realize every choice leads you down a different time line, were in this constant entry point into a crossroads down a maze and our choices change which maze configuration we end up in, but even in that their are mazes.. every millisecond a choice is made a path decided.. its the choose your own adventure that never ends but always changes.. even if you back track the choices are different because the last choice changed everything!
Is looking into the future looking into a singular future everyone will exist in no matter what? or is it ONE version of a potential future that won't even exist if you see it thus your seeing it changes even it? Confused? You should be.. Seeing the future is one thing, creating it is another.
a taste of this awareness..
Realize now that their is a difference between someone giving you the winning lottery numbers and you playing them, providing they will definitely come up not by random choice but by for example a fixed drawing where by you just have to choose the numbers already written down, and seeing the randomly picked numbers (as in the lotto balls) in a precognition and then playing those numbers expecting to win the lottery. You need to think of it as an energy field; where by just your perception of the field changes the very structure of it!
Let's talk about the present first.
But have you ever thought about how life is? How we all grow and learn, change and become more?
How our very view of our universe is completely transformed in the space of just a month, a year, or in some cases a minute. As things become more apparent, awareness shifts and cataclysmically changes everything you ever knew your universe and perception of it matures. You can't go back and experience the world as you did as a kid, because that information cannot be unlearned. You can pretend and feel some of the emotions but the knowledge is still there influencing your emotions and thoughts.
The very thoughts about your past being in your mind make it impossible to reenter the physical past exactly as you lived it before. By doing so you are not the same person. Your very fabric of reality is so profoundly different the very chain reactions of your physical being entering the past would cause disruptions changing everything. However you can enter the past and connect with your past self, think of it like multiple personality disorder.. is this a real disorder or is this these people's future or past selves moving through time and occupying their future or past bodies?
Are they coming from different lives as the same person or are they all just the mind splitting concepts that multiple personality disorder patients develop through catastrophe? Who knows but the concept that you can move through time and occupy your very same vehicle in different times is fascinating.. Weather or not your will is stronger than the host body in that time period is the question of who would dominate right? hmm.
o.k. I got a bit off topic there.. Sort of.. if that sort of stuff fascinates you, you can visit my other hub on that type of theory.. here let's get back on topic.. Precognition. I'll try to dive into this slowly so I don't lose anyone. The amount of things this stimulates in my mind are baffling..
Wisdom changes everything
Magic of Perspective
They say you should read a book three times in your life. Once as a child, once as a young adult and once in your mature years (50+). Why? Because that one book becomes three. As you grow and learn you develop wisdom. Your perceptions of the world change as you become more aware of things. All the pain you go through, all the things you experience, everything changes you.
Not only are you not physically the same person just seven years ago, mentally your even more so not the same person. As you learn, grow and your perceptions mature your very way of interpreting your world changes with it. When you read that book the first time as a child, you see the superficial infrastructure of the information.
When you read it as a teenager you comprehend a new level of understanding that makes the information in the book more personal and vivid in your imagination. You relate to the materials. When you read it as an adult you now can read between the lines.
The three perspectives
Think back to when you were a child, ignorant of the world and its many aspects. You enjoyed much more than most adults simply because you were ignorant of the stressful things you end up having to deal with later in life, you were free and secure, life took on a carefree meaning. Then you grow up, go to school and learn responsibilities. Those responsibilities become your independence and as an adult you are standing on your own two feet.
But let's back up a second and think about that child you were. Imagine yourself 6 years old and let's say you could see into the distant future, say today. Let's say you could view yourself through your own eyes reading this hub. but in your vision you can control the person's view and where they go. Let's say you in your vision can do what I cannot do here, you cannot move yourself around you have free will and I doubt you want your 6 year old self making your movements for you. But lets say in this vision your 6 year old self has the power to move between the multiverse of possibilities.
Every time I make a choice from drinking my coffee to typing this next word, that is a choice. if I stopped typing that would also be a choice. so to simplify it your 6 year old self could stop seeing you in their future(now) reading this and switch to the reality where your choice led you to walk away from the computer into the living room.
A series of choices could be networked subconsciously based on your minds will. Since your not affecting free will of your future self your just "remote viewing" through your eyes you could choose separate from interacting with your future self what you get to see and experience simply by shifting to different choice selves (did I lose you?) Think of it like a choose your own adventure book, only the choice is not a page its a choice or direction, a movement.. Like navigating through several thousand choices that make up a movement like those psychics seem to do seamlessly on those cop shows.
I see every choice as taking you into a different time line of potential events; in this we chose our destiny with every thought, choice and movement (which are all choices). We do this seamlessly and so unconsciously that we don't see it as separate events but in reality it is. As a remote viewer you would do the same only you're not living physically the events you're just witnessing them and the choices are your conscious movements through the "movie" so to speak of your future potential.
Do not try to bend the spoon, that is impossible. Instead realize their is no spoon, it is only yourself that bends.
Everyone says "What the hell does this mean?" well the following will explain it hopefully...
Even seeing your future you're not seeing the only one, just the one you choose to ride through. To end up at that exact future (how complex would that be?) you'd have to follow the exact chain of events that would allow you to arrive at that point! You can't know what those choices are!
Even if you somehow saw the lotto numbers on a television broadcast, then you saw the date on the news report of the drawing and snapped back into your normal self and wrote it down from memory. The numbers that popped up in that future were based on alot of things you're not thinking about. Your interaction with the world causes things to happen you will never know about. The butterfly effect means a sneeze here could ultimately cause a tornado half way across the world or even in another universe of our physical plane.
The entire universe is connected physically through one stream of energy. Any fluctuation in that energy affects the whole. Every choice we make changes EVERYTHING. To arrive at the exact numbers you saw in your future precognition would require you to duplicate the exact choices that lead up to that exact future you saw. Which by the way may be impossible because it may have required that you didn't know about it, since just knowing changes/fluxes energy! Does your brain hurt yet?
What your seeing is a potential future but not the only one, what could make it powerful however is that you can actually see it happening and know it's possible.. But that's beside my point here.. Comprehending it would be first needed. It's not impossible to even reconnect choices that led to those exact numbers happening it's simply improbable. We can create our world into anything we want if we learn to manipulate thoughts strategically.. what's mind boggling is that we create our future through choices, thoughts, and action/reactions.. If you put enough energy and thought and belief into something, an idea, a concept, you can ultimately generate the outcome by aligning the universe to your manifestation of an idea.. Trying to do this by your mechanical actions however even thinking it into being is way too complex to accomplish on your own.. But if you realize the universe works by intentions, and using the "wish mechanics" I describe in another hub you can do this without so much effort.
"Achems Razor states that: All things being equal, the simplest explanation is probably the correct explanation."
aside from the physics of this (I just thought I'd fill you in on my theory of how one would see the future through a sort of mental astral projection (they say when you astrally project (out of body experience) time is not a factor in your physical dimensions so without actually traveling physically projecting to the future through remote viewing is one potential way we do it all the time I think).
Again, Aside from how you can do it let's just assume you can and do, and this 6 year old version of yourself is seeing a future event, your present life. Would he/she know what he/she was really seeing here? Would he/she even comprehend what a computer is? When I was 6 computers were not invented yet (home computers, I'm sure those full room ones from IBM were around but you get my point). Would your 6 year old self know anything about what was going on? What you perceived in this time?
Probably not. For one this 6 year old self hasn't even learned the many basics you learn in the 12 years in school, and thus cannot comprehend much of what he/she's seeing, your 6 year old self lacks the maturity to even be able to connect the dots to the simplest things your doing, let alone be able to connect the dots as to what everything happening means. It's not like watching a movie where the ending is explained through the context of the movies dialogue.
Were coherent because we are conscious or subconscious of what led us to where we are. In a precognition we lack that understanding and thus also lack the experiences and things that shifted your developed perception of the world. Your choices in the future are far different and influenced even, different from how you make choices now, hence what you think your doing in a future vision is nothing like what you think is happening, thus the future event will be misinterpreted and any choices or decisions or ambitions you make now based on that vision are flawed and will not rationally make any sense. Let's say you see yourself die.
You don't know if your playing a part in a very realistic virtual reality game in the future whereby you can actually be inserted into a real world version of the game (like the movie the 13th floor).. and what your seeing may just be a game. If you see this in a "glimpse" of your future then live your life in fear of dying, you may in fact cause your own death for real because fear makes things happen and by mistake and irrational fear in preventing your own death you may cause yourself to veer to another future outcome where you really die.
The really chitty thing about our future is if we could see it we would have no real clue into what we were seeing, since the future technology is growing so dam fast what may seem in a precognition could very well just be a real feeling video game. We may all be connected to the matrix like the movie but our precognition will see the dream were locked into not the reality of our bodies locked into this power plant!
Another thing about seeing our future is we understand our world due to the things we've experienced. Trying to see our future self would be a limited comprehension at best. It would be like trying to quantum leap into another person's life and understand it. What if in the future your a drunk and now you cannot conceive of this lifestyle (say a family member dies and you lose it and drink your sorrow away).. Your future vision would be very unrealistically seen; would you understand it or think it was just a "blurry" vision?
Real life is assumingly understood, we create our world and we interpret it based on what we know about what we created, regardless of weather or not we have yet taken responsibility for our lives, subconsciously we know we built it the way it turned out and thus can navigate it. This is the tip of the iceberg however but this is the important staple about the future that is so dam confusing. Knowing how to see the future is one thing. Comprehending it is a whole other story. If you cannot comprehend what your seeing CORRECTLY you make ASSumptions.
The way you see the world and comprehend its marvel, is completely different than when you were 6, 8, 16 or even 21, 36, or 60 years old. I used the 6 year old analogy because most people realize the world is a completely different animal for a 6 year old and a 33 year old (my current age as an example). In my world computers weren't even a concept, other than star trek but even then noone thought that was real.. they saw that as televisions not what computers are now, devices to write on and use via the internet, a concept that didn't even take hold till the 80's late 80's at that.
The world my 6 year old self would see compared to the 1981 world I'd be in would contrast very heavily as very different. Nothing I would see today through my 6 year old comprehension would fit or even make sense, other than the coffee I'd see myself drink.. the keyboard would be very mysterious to me as at 6 I never even saw a type writer!
But it gets more complex when you figure seeing just 10 years into the future my 23 year old self would be in pretty much the same conceived world right? The net was there, computers were there etc.. but what was so different that If I saw through my eyes today from then would have me confused? EVERYTHING. Perception is everything and without the benefit of the rules to your visions perception of the world you are lost completely. I'll continue the basics first.
We left off with the book, changing in the three times in your life, childhood, adulthood and maturity (60 years old for example).
This is why that book changes. For the same reason you can't know what's going on in the future if you could see it, unless it was the very close future like say a few days away but even then maybe not, that book is different.
Truthfully the book is the same but YOU change as you grow, and learn. Every second of your life you're growing in some way. Change, they say, is the only constant.
I could go on all day on this, but I'll make one more point here. I love the book analogy because of its ability to stagnate my point so it makes more conscious sense here.
Remember how the book changes because of wisdom you acquire, perceptions you mature into and so on? Well realize in your future, say 30 years later, your perceptions of that book will change however the book to you now won't. If you see a future where you're reading that book, you will not see the same future your future self sees.
The book may be the same material but the books meaning is different. Life repeats itself but our perceptions grow, mature and change and thus the meaning of our future in many ways is dependant on realizing that you may be reading that book in the future for a very different reason than say you'd read it now.. The meaning of the book is not dependant on the words but the context of the reader!
If your confused still.. Just realize my point here is:
- Just because you can see the future doesn't mean you know what your seeing.
- Their is no spoon (the future is infinite in possibilities, just because you see one future doesn't mean its the one you'll land at)
- Can you imagine traveling to the future with your mind in the wrong context? Remember how dumbfounded crocodile Dundee was when he went to America? Or how about a cave man if transported to today? Realize just 30 years into the future is 100 times more confusing than the cave man was coming to now.. As our times are demanding and change happens very rapidly evolution is at least 100x more efficient now and in 30 years exponentially more so than it was then..
- This is for entertainment purposes only. :) I love to theorize.
