The Official BHF Diet - it's a fake!
A new diet doing the rounds, called the Official BHF Diet, and unofficially known as the Hamburger Diet, or Frankfurter Diet has been called a fake by the very organisation that was allegedly supporting it.
The British Heart Foundation say they've not endorsed the Official BHF Diet and those following it have been conned, it's a scam.
The Hamburger Diet claims that you can lose 10 pounds in 3 days by eating things such as frankfurters and cabbage, or tuna, string beans and cauliflower - as well as drinking tea and coffee.
Thousands have already fallen for this fake diet - and, once it's out there, no doubt thousands more will be taken in over the coming months and years as the Official BHF Diet does the rounds.
Claims are Untrue
The Official BHF Diet claims that the weightloss is due to chemical breakdown. Other claims made are that the frankfurter diet is 'proven' and is '100% non-risk'. Claims which experts have all said are untrue.
Typical BHF Menu Plans
Here are a couple of examples of the type of meals the Official BHF Diet plan was suggesting to its keen followers:
BHF Diet Menu 1
- 2 frankfurthers
- 1/2 cup of carrots
- 1 cup of broccoli or cabbage
- vanilla ice cream for dessert.
BHF Menu 2
- 1 cup of tuna
- 1 cup of carrots and cauliflower
- Half a cup of ice-cream and a cup of melon for dessert
Now, I don't know about the nutritional value of that lot - but it doesn't sound too bad at all to me. However, many of the Official BHF Diet followers complain that it's difficult to stay on the diet for three days.
A typical breakfast would be black coffee, one egg on one slice of toast and a banana.

Have you been following the BHF Diet and believed that it was backed by the British Heart Foundation? Thousands of people have, so there's no shame - and, in my opinion, it sounds a lot tastier than the old fashioned and infamous Cabbage Soup Diet! (Yes, I tried that one, it was awful).
