Health Benefits of Hubing - Making Hub to a blog.. Because it just feels so good, and so right!

When you enter the Hub author world, everything in your life will slowly change around it, in a positive way. Concepts you never understood realities you were curious about like those ads you see all around every website, and the potential to earn money on the internet from your writing become clearer as you go along.

The very act of writing a hub helps you focus, excite your dormant states of knowledge and provokes your wisdom and awareness in ways I can't even begin to explain here. Unfortunately, noon can be told what the HubPages Matrix is, you have to experience it for yourself. I can only guide you to the truth.

Hub Page writing is a whole new world and an exciting way to interact with your world (both inner and the outside world). Hubing gives you insight into how to format, write and organize your thoughts into monetization vehicles that you can plug into search engines via web spiders.

What makes a hub different from a blog is quality, focus, and its very ability to earn you residual income, as well as the respect of your readers. This hub shows you the basics but their is much more to this.

The right way to build a hub is to take particular attention to its format and context. A hub speaks to the readers sense of intellectual stimulation. Hubs assist researchers, information enthusiasts and info-Seekers in finding what they need to satisfy their curiosity. Hub's are great for building how to guides on just about anything.

Hubs are also used to make money. Hub's can be monetized to take advantage of Adsense, and although a blog can too, more people will click ads around a hub than a blog mainly because a hub is more keyword rich, and formatted to bring in more focused ads that match the article.

Making hubs out of blogs can be a tedious process if you let it be but the truth is its not that hard. You just have to remove the elements that make it personal, ranting, and that hold no real value.

It is important that you convert the blog correctly because the distinction is very noticable.

A blog is a personal rant. When you want to tell your friends and anyone else who will listen about your day, your opinions, your ideas or your bad date. Writing blogs is usually a way to communicate and vent. Blogs are usually a part of every social networking site, and works as a diary or communication tool.

A hub is more professional and information based. Hub's contain valuable and focused content about a particular topic and expand on that topic in a specific flow, where by a blog has no real rules of format.

A hub is designed to earn money by creating a valuable article that helps people with insight, poetry, or is a how to guide on something. Hubs require more tact, focus, monitization (to maximize traffic towards a revenue end) and value in what your writing. A hub is much like a magazine article however it utilizes more multimedia formats such as video's, rss feeds, links out. Like an article in a magazine it uses pictures, headings and focused content without too much formatting (fonts, colors etc..).

A blog doesnt usually have alot of headers, pictures, videos and the like because its not designed to captivate someones attention and teach them something, its usually a ranting vehichle.

One thing I liked about the matrix trilogy was how closely related its theme is to the hub pages site. By that I mean the basic networking themes. When one comes to hubpages they are led into a new world but not forced to join. They become excited by the hidden world that's been there the whole time and decide to come in and become a member (its free right?).

For me personally I am absolutely addicted to learning new things.. I don't go a day without proactively discovering something new and exciting.

This is a great way to capitalize on a problem like this and I'm sure a lot of intellectuals who are addicted to learning have this same problem.. I sleep like a baby at night now and share a lot of great hubs.

It really opens up many vents in your life and you start to feel the positive results of your efforts, and excitement almost immediately.. Its why you simply won't be able to walk away once you feel its power.

When you join the HubPages authorship you're unplugged from being "Just another person reading websites on the web with incredibly stimulating content" to "Writing those pages and inflicting stimulation upon the masses". Instead of just being a part of the flock of internet info-seekers you are creating the very foundations that brings that information to the average person.

In this regard your unplugged but can at any time at will "Jack in" to the matrix to also be the average reader, or can you? No you become much more and can never go back to being just a regular "user".

One way you will be able to assess your progress in writing better articles is in paying attention to the pages you enjoy reading and why.

What once irritated you now stimulates and inspires you to write.

Once your a writer you will enlist in a new personal power. When you read an article that doesn't do it for you and or you search for others and still are not satisfied with what you find, you will find yourself on a mission to learn yourself what you need to write that "missing" link so that others won't suffer as you have..

Once again you capitolize on what was once a problem. Hub page building resolves alot of things that used to plague you, like being passive about things, or serving as an outlet for all that data in your head, to satisfying your need to feel acknowledged (hubpages has an excellent "fan" program and a wonderful staff of writers/authors that interact in the forums).

You will find your very way of surfing the net will go from passive to proactive.. and what used to irritate you becomes those gold nuggets of opportunity you will actually seek out! Theirs power in proactivity. You will hone your research skills to such a high level that nothing will be outside your grasp if you can just get to the google search engine *smiles*

Hubing makes you more proactive as a person, at first in research and writing, in discovering information and answers but eventually this translates to the rest of your being, your life and your environment.

In this way you become highly empowered and every hub you write makes you more powerful as a person to control your "matrix" and to bend it as you see fit.

new hub page authors find it a great place to write where their work will be read by a huge audience. This site has a lot of traffic pulsing through it mimicking the blood stream of eBay in my opinion.

When they join they enter the forum and the world around them becomes lucid and new. Things they always knew about (like the Adsense ads on all sites everywhere) but didn't realize could be tools they could use themselves become valuable right before their eyes.

An outlet to an amazing group of other writers is opened and they "unplug" from the old world and are now a part of something big, organized, and amazing with a mission to boot

Looking around after being unplugged they see all these "Hubs", other people jacked into the HubPagerix, with electric currents running through all of them and like Neo's view of all the "power plants" of people connected, they are all jacked into the same domain (hubpages.com?) with electricity (traffic) pulsing through all of the hubs, and utilizing links utilizing other built in features of this sites electricity (traffic) flows through with unhindered freedom in an intuitive fashion.

Unlike the real matrix of what this seems to mimic, the program is voluntary and everyone knows the system, how their jacked in, and can leave at any time without consequences. If the matrix movie had a parallel and mirror dimension, hubpages.com would be that other dimension / positive parallel.

If you watch the video but direct his words to describing not looking for the matrix but the salvation of a writing career that will both enlighen you and liberate you in many ways, you'll see the very theme of that scenes meaning.

The movie the matrix was both entertaining and designed to explain the truth of the world we all live in.. it's why I use it alot in my deeper discussions of psychology and networking..

Hubpages has a unique scoring system in place at both the hub (articles you write) level and the author level. This scoring system is designed to inspire participation in the site which fuels the sites traffic flow, and to give you a barometer reading of your hubs quality and ability to earn you rankings on the search engines.

That's the over view, now I'll simplify it.

Think of it like going to a job. Your personal experience, disposition, qualifications, resume, and so forth all contribute to your "potential" ability to do your job in the synergy that is that company.

You work with others but its your particular talents and ability to do your part individually that assure that you are a valuable "cog" in the company "Machine". This is what your author score is about. It shows you how you as the individual in the system are doing as far as participating in the engines flow.

Dr. Phil mentions in his book "Life Strategies" in his 10 Life laws "Your either contaminating or contributing to every situation all the time" and this is very true of hub pages. Your hubs and your interactions with the community contribute to the successful flow of the network, but your lack of participation actually has an impact on the network as a whole. I explain this in detail in my other hub so I wont go into it in detail here, but realize that this is important and why the hub score exists.

Your hubs can contaminate the network as much as they can help it but generally if they follow all the rules and are built to attract traffic and promote other hubs, and are optomized monitized and attractively formatted (and of course valuable unique information) then they won't impact the whole if they just sit there..

of course if they never refresh, or dont have some sort of a component like RSS or comment box on it to dynamically update the pages information (for googles sake) or you don't go back and change it up a bit once in a while then it could slightly contaminate the whole as it is frowned upon by google to have static pages. Think of it as in terms of energy, stagnating energy blocks flow.

If you have great hubs that are as described above, then your hub scores should be fine as long as your bringing traffic to the site with them.. its the collective synergy of traffic attraction that is the oxygen and blood line of our survival as a community. But more importantly is the participation (the author hub scores's reason for existing) in the site which could be seen in a way as the comparrison to exercise to your own body.

If you don't participate things still go on but arteries get clogged, blood flow becomes hindered, and fat and cellulite develop.. energy becomes blocked and the system starts to "contaminate" other systems in the eco system around it. I'm simplifying this concept here but again this is described in detail in the other hub so I wont go into it here but I want to touch on it to give you a taste of the power of these scores. This hub is to introduce you to hub pages and so is written for the newbie. I wanted to make an overview hub to help the new authors take in the sites structure/infrastructure.

Traffic is brought in by all then recycled and funneled to as many points in the system as possible.. this requires conduits which are created by user interaction (authors participating in the various services/components of the site). One such participation is building links to connect hubs and help visitors with their research efforts..

A hub on how to make spaghettii should show the visitor a great hub on making garlic bread, and possibly another hub on how to prepare the house for guests.. and so on.. a flow is the trick..

That requires participation. If your hub author score is low your not doing your part, if it plummets all of a sudden realize their is a reason for it and you should investigate.. this is done to show you you have a hole in your radiator so to speak and your hub engine is overheating.

Hub pages is a traffic capacitor and server in a lot of ways, it gets a lot of inbound traffic because of individual efforts, but synergistically speaking that traffic is shared amongst the entire network. To do this hub pages has designed the "machine" in such a way that if you do your part and participate you create "canals" and "plumbing" channels for that traffic to flow through.

Some simple ways are leaving comments, for example, as this builds links exchanges. Your comment includes a link back to your profile thus your pages and articles, and also commenting on a page both helps the authors page rank higher in Google's eyes as its fresh and constantly changing.

Also when you leave a comment this activity shows up in hubtivity which could mean, depending on that persons fan base, hundreds of people's hubtivity. When you're someone's fan you get notified in hubtivity of their activities on the site and their hubs activities (so when someone leaves a comment on one of your pages all your fans know about it.

Realize that ALL hubtivity pages on profiles are public. You don't need to even be a member of hub pages to see it and it could link someone to your article and profile just because you left a comment! How? because say they see activity on one authors hubtivity, like becoming your fan for example. The visitor may check out your profile from their and enter your hubs that way.

This type of thing (link exchange potentials like comment boxes and hubtivity) is embedded all over the site to funnel traffic to members who participate. The very participation fuels the links, so in a very efficient way both the action of commenting (and many others, this is just one example) on a hub article both helps the article, the author (feedback) and the community of visitors, and it builds bridges. New hubs especially need these bridges I call "flow canals" or "Plumbing" pipes.

Since thousands of pages are created a day the interactivity level on just this one part needs constant attention so hub pages rewards those who help keep the building of bridges so to speak by a built in traffic magnet. In this aspect (this one feature the comments box in conjunction with hubtivity) leaving a comment spray paints a link exchange on the page and offers you traffic potential from that authors traffic generating efforts to that hub.

Hubtivity is on every profile. When you leave a comment your comment is advertised to that persons entire fan base as activity on their hub so their fans can check out what people are saying. This gives you exposure to all those profile's hubtivity! So leaving comments on hubs where the author has ALOT of fans is always a good idea..

Take care in leaving comments. Don't leave useless comments or negative comments. Use tact and present yourself well, as the words on your comment are representative of you to the guest reading the hub it's on. You want to present yourself well through your comment and give the Huber kudos' for their hard work. You can be honest and critique just do it with class and people will respect you. The picture avatar you use to the words you leave on their hub (comments) are tools you can use to direct traffic from their efforts to your profile. Then use your profile to direct that traffic to your hubs!

This is not myspace or face book, so don't just take these features for granted, your here to make money and that means your always looking for traffic, so utilize the tools to help your fellow Huber but also to get your hubs some traffic!

Also note you want to always leave good comments, written well and spell checked as people may check out your hub based on what you say, how you say it and how polite you were. Those visitors could become YOUR fans and may read your hubs. This is powerful potential.
