I used a gentle face wash to prepare my skin for the peroxide, removing any surface oils in my skin to better open up my pores so that the benzoyl peroxide could get in. Then I applied the Benzoyl peroxide, which oxygenated my skin, drying it and reducing peeling so that my pores would not clog as well. Using this in large amounts was incredible effective for me. Finally I used a good, sturdy moisturizer to offset the drying and flakiness that was created by the large amounts of benzoyl peroxide.
