On A Personal Note:

As a member of the LDS faith, these years of active membership in the Church, have brought many opportunities to learn the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This has also given me a broad understanding of Mormonism. I have spent many years of activity in the Mormon Church, serving in many leadership postions. I have served as a teacher to both the youth and adult members of the Church. I feel that the many opportunites for service, leadership and teaching in the Church have been a strength to me personally, but more importantly as a wife and mother.

I honestly give full credit to how I have come to understand my life, and my relationships with others in my family,etc... to my Savior Jesus Christ and in His teachings of The Plan of Salvation, as taught by Living Prophets today.

These eternal truths that I have come to know, through my membership in the LDS Church - are the very foundation upon which has been built - the love which I have for my family. These eternal truths have given me a perspective and an understanding, which is beyond this life; which has richly blessed my life - and the relationships of which I consider, to be at the very center of my life; and are my purpose for doing all that I do in my life.

I love everything about my family, and all that has come from learning together, about me, and each one of them. I love understanding just why families are so important. Mormons believe that our famiies can be together forever... even on the days that we look at each other and say, what?

So, after much contemplation, I have decided to write about these truths - which I have come to understand and have grown to have significant meaning to me. Throughout my adult life, I have taken much time to learn and understand the teachings of the LDS Church from a "practical" perspective. I have exercised my faith by living these principles that I have learned.

I have developed a great love for these truths, through personal application. I am certainly not an apologist for Mormonism. I think that we have enough of those around. Instead, I would prefer to share my testimony of Jesus Christ, and the blessings of being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints... that simple.

I am most certainly aware that there are many places online that you may go to find out, 'things' about Mormonism... but it is my hope that in some way, I can share with you the blessings that I have come to enjoy, because of those truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as I have come to understand and live them.

Here on HubPages - I will write on relevant subjects pertaining to Mormonism - and do so, as simply a "member" of the LDS Church. I am not here to contend with anyone about the Mormons or Mormonism, its doctrines, practices or beliefs. My intent is to help others wanting to know and understand more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

Again, thank you for allowing me an opportunity to briefly introduce myself to you. Please join my "fan" club - which is really just another way of inviting you to become my "friend".
