X Factor winner Leona Lewis pictures and videos

Leona Lewis, in the words of Simon Cowell "a fantastically talented 21 year old" singer/songwriter who's been compared to the likes of Whitney Houston and mariah carey and Is Known for being the first female winner of Britain's top rated television show the X factor .. She has the most beautiful voice which kept me glued to the screen every week..

Leona Lewis sailed through the first round of the auditions with "over the rainbow" and most of her songs she sung were always better than the original..She always made every-song she sung her own and always much better than the original versions. Leona grew up listening to her dads record collection, and at the age of 6 decided she wanted to be a singer and wrote her first song, one of 100s aged 12 and shes been singing since she could talk, but really started to master her talent when she enrolled at Sylvia Young and then the Brits Academy. she is also a keen dancer and actor.

Since winning X factor, Leona has been keeping a low profile since her massive first hit, “A Moment Like this” last Christmas and the wait to see her again is almost over as she plans to release a new song this year. Leona herself has said she will not release any new material until late 2007.

Leona Louise Lewis,was born on April 3rd in 1985, Islington London, her style of singing is, R&B pop, ballad, and soul. Simon Cowell is planning to promote Leona in the States this year and has signed a multi million pound contract. American Idol judge Randy Jackson has been building her up, saying that he wants to sign her to his record label in the US.Hopefully the Americans will like Leona as much as us!

Thanks Compu-Smart, she is awesome, she has a great voice. We don't get this show here. She is brilliant. Chiquitita is good, she has done a great job on Abba's song.

Thanks Cgull8m...Leona's version of Chiquitita was awesome and much better than the original, sung by Abba.. She still gives me goose bumps when i see these videos. ...Xfactor will be coming around again soon here in the UK, its a brilliant show and well worth moving to England for :)
