TAKING CARE OF YOUR PET YOUR WAY

MITHU has been with me for the last 5 years .i have heard to a lot of advices but i feel you know what is best for your pet.

take care of your pet your way.

1.SUNSHINE-early morning sun is very important for your pet,it will keep her pest free most of her life.

2.FOOD-all kinds of fresh vegetables ,dry pulses, green chillies ,dry red chillies keeps your bird healthy.a piece of turmeric to chew at leisure keeps her tongue clean.

3GROOMING-NO expensive visits to the vet, once a month bath with warm turmeric water will keep your parrot healthy.Turmeric water has medicinal properties.if you are staying in a cold climate ensure you dry your bird after a bath.

4.FRIENDSHIP-a lonely pet is a depressed bird ensure she has a companion,my dog has been an excellent companion for my parrot

5EXERCISE-this is very important, ensure her cage is that big that her tail does not touch the floor of the cage when she is perched on the wire.sometimes do let her out for a walk,i let mine climb trees in the garden.

Hi,

Please help me, I recently owned a pair of parrots I think they are around 6 or may be 7 month old ( I actually don't know how old they are I just guessed by their red beak and long tail but they seem to be young).

I don't know how to take them out of cage as they tend to bite ( I think so).

I really want them out of cage and be happy but I fear they will fly as they keep looking for way out.
