The Song of the Nightingale
Already 2,500 years ago, the Greek philosopher and mathematician, Pythagoras famously said that 'Number is the within of all things'. Today we know that Pythagoras was right. Phenomenons seem to comply with mathematics, where science makes good use of.
But that doesn't mean that the beauty and magnitude of the Universe and Nature is less impressive. It makes everything around us only more astounding and majestic.
Research to an inventive new healing therapy lead me unexpected on the path of the Common Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos). This bird appears to be not so common at all.
This little Nightingale that sings so brave and beautiful on his little branch its most beautiful song, is admired and beloved by many people. Why does it sing so beautiful? Because of one major thing - its frequency.
Other birds that are considered to sing less beautiful sing at other frequencies. What is so special about the frequency of the Nightingale? Because of another astounding thing. This frequency is related to the frequency of our heart Chakra. This fact appears to be THE reason why we find this sound so beautiful, that I will show you later in this article.

Solfeggio Frequencies
Solfeggio is a music education method to teach pitch and sightseeing and was practised already millennia ago i.a. by the Gregorian chanters.
The Solfeggio Frequencies contain an interesting and true ancient knowledge, that appears to have roots in nature. The Nightingale sang its song long before any human did, which means that it is originally derived from nature.
The Solfeggio range is associated with the colours of the rainbow, where red is the lowest frequency and violet the highest, and is therefore associated with the chakras.
There are on the internet many misconceptions about this special range of frequencies. For example 528 Hz is interpreted to Love, which is wrong. This frequency is connected to the Solar Plexus and therefore to the Ego. The Love frequency is solely related to the heart, which is a multiple of 639 Hz.
There are on the internet also many other frequencies. I cannot state clearly enough that other frequencies do not resonate with the frequencies of the chakras, unless they correspond with multiples of the Solfeggio range.

Number is the Within of all Things
There are many things to discover in the Solfeggio range. The ratio between the frequency of the Heart chakra and Root chakra (639 divided by 396 = 1.613) is very close to the Golden Ratio of 1.618.
Another interesting feature is that the numbers of the Solfeggio range always adds up to a multiple of 3.
- 396 → 3+9+6 = 18 → 1+8 = 9 (Root)
- 417 → 4+1+7 = 12 → 1+2 = 3 (Sacral)
- 528 → 5+2+8 = 15 → 1+5 = 6 (Solar Plexus)
- 639 → 6+3+9 = 18 → 1+8 = 9 (Heart)
- 741 → 7+4+1 = 12 → 1+2 = 3 (Throat)
- 852 → 8+5+2 = 15 → 1+5 = 6 (3rd Eye)
Every chakra has a certain base number that is a multiple of 3. Like Nikola Tesla stated "If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6 and 9, then you would have a key to the universe."
The Solfeggio frequency range holds an important clue to human liberation, but is so powerful that it should be used carefully.

The most remarkable thing is that there are no other frequency peaks in this plot to find than the multiples of the natural frequency of the Heart Chakra.
The above sample shows:
- The first most dominant high peak is located around 1900 Hz, the threefold frequency of the Heart Chakra Solfeggio.
- The second peak is located around 2550 Hz, which is the fourfold frequency of the Heart Chakra Solfeggio.
- The third peak is located 3170 Hz, which is the fivefold of the Heart Chakra Solfeggio.
These three major peaks resonate with the Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra will start to oscillate quite strongly. That is the reason why we all find the song of the Nightingale so beautiful, and can awake certain emotions.
The Solfeggio frequencies are therefore not 'just something'. Nature showed the way to the Gregorian chanters, and that is not illogical since nature contains all the secrets.
What is Resonance?
Every 'thing' that has mass, no matter how big or small, has a certain natural resonance frequency. The smaller, the higher the natural frequency.
At resonant frequencies, even the smallest force has the ability to produce large oscillations. This is because the 'thing' is then able to store the vibrational energy.
Resonance is a phenomenon that an object(s) can start to oscillate when it is driven by an external force or sound that is close to its oscillation frequency.
This website might give more insight in what oscillation is about. The only difference with matter is that chakras are also sensitive for multiples of their natural frequency. Like for example the threefold Anahata frequency that the Nightingale produces.
Oscillation of Chakras
In the case of music (or sound) and chakras it means that when sound is close to the natural frequency of a certain chakra, the chakra has the tendency to oscillate energetically. This oscillation is experienced as a sensation that is related to the function of the chakra.
The power of the right Solfeggio frequency and tone is tremendous. Do not listen to just a frequency like there are many to find on the internet. They don't do what they pretend to do, simply because one single frequencies cannot clean a polluted or partial blocked chakra.
Listening for a longer time to one single piercing tone can harm the energetic system of the targeted chakra. Such mono tones can cause the chakra to oscillate too strong, and cause overload.
The best way is to 'swing' around the oscillation frequency of a certain chakra which will cause blockages to become 'liquid', called Tartini Tones. This method prevents overload of the chakra. But be careful, do not practise this by yourself without professional supervision!

What About the Solfeggio Frequencies?
The 6 Solfeggio frequencies have the power to liberate chakras from negative stored emotions.
You can regard these emotions as 'energetic mass' that clings to the chakra and causes it to vibrate at a lower frequency, which causes on its turn blockages in the up-and-down energy flow through the spine column.
The Solfeggio frequency range has the tremendous power to liberate chakras from the most fundamental blockages:
- the Root chakra deals with survival and is blocked by fear,
- the Sacral chakra deals with pleasure and is blocked by guilt,
- the Solar Plexus chakra deals with will power and is blocked by shame,
- the Heart chakra deals with love and is blocked by grief,
- the Throat chakra deals with truth and is blocked by lies to the self,
- the 3rd Eye chakra deals with insight and is blocked by illusion (separation),
- the Crown chakra deals with cosmic energy and is blocked by attachments.
Nature shows us the way to one of the secrets of the Universe. The Solfeggio frequencies are ultimately derived from nature, and are very powerful in healing body and mind from many diseases. But be careful, don't practise this on your own by listening to tight dry tones, Binaural beats or other acoustic home-made sounds. They can be very harmful on the long term.
Only personal custom-made sounds have the ability to cleans chakras, and this requires a mathematical and holistic approach.
