Schnauzers really rock, don't they, Heidi? Is yours a mini, standard or giant?

I have 2 mini's Shotzie and Fritz and both are spoiled. I clip them and also brush their teeth a couple of times a week. I really love this breed because they don't shed and are excellent watch dogs. This is the only breed I ever had since my first schnauzer in 1978 I named her Whiskers; my other schnauzers names were Pepper and Heidi. They are really good companions and are ready to do what you want them to do. Mine like going for walks, chewing rawhide, and playing with their stuffed animal toys. Shotzie's favorite toy is a skunk.

Schnauzers are so adorable it's difficult not to spoil them. I certainly was unable to prevent myself from spoiling my schnauzer girl!

My mini is pretty spoiled too, but she spoils me as well with her attention. I, too, like the non-shedding aspect of a Schnauzer. My girl is a good watch dog, but gets a bit over-enthusiastic with the barking when a neighborhood cat dares to climb over our fence! If I am not near the front of the house when the mail carrier arrives, she comes to get me. I think what I like most about Schnauzers is the varying tones of the barks they use for different reasons. It's almost like they are talking a special Schnauzer language. She "mumbles" if I don't let her do something she wants to do. It's so funny, but I try not to laugh aloud.
