Hello Midget......Right now is a perfect time to explain how my Cocker Spaniel shows "fear." We've been experiencing a thunder storm since late last night, into this morning. "Toby" is petrified......visibly shaken...and by the way, SHAKING.
He does not leave my side. Under foot and very close to me, no matter what he has to do. Each time the thunder roars, he moves closer and closer. I could barely move in my bed last night. He was basically rolled up next to me with his head on my arm or my chest.
At this moment he is laying ON my feet.
Under no circumstances will he go outside. I have to use his leash to literally drag him out there for potty purposes.
I've seen him display other various emotions, but none of them as blatant as this fear of the thunder storm!
