   my black lab-chow mix name is : Houston Texan (so I can call him: "Big-H") My yellow lab before him was named: "Okie"
   
   I like naming animals after the land ( or maybe something western)...However...I have an adopted/foster pup who's name is: "O. C." for Orange Crush (Any Foridians out there?) She has always acted like she (Cute American Boxer/Lab mix) had a crush on Houston..."Big-H". We unfortunately lost "O.C.'s" brother (same litter) to an illness recently. (A brindle Pit Bull/Boxer/Lab named "Bronco Billy"...I miss that guy!)
   
   My wife's beta fish is called: Nicholas
   My daughter's beta fish was called: Christopher
   
   People names for fish? Kooky...But Heck...I like the expression on betas when they look up at you...they do seem so intelligent!

   One dog, a shih tzu, his name is Leo (Shih Tzu supposedly means 'Lion Dog' because of their faces}
   Two cats, both adopted, given names by the girls at the Vet's office where we adopted them:
   one named Suzuki because she purrs like a motor, she's a calico
   one named Starr she's grey with patches of white, I guess like stars.  We have her the second R.

    Currently I have two black cats Oliver & Olivia. I had Olivia first and when we wanted another cat, I had to get one that matched.
    
    Growing up: 2 cats - Jackie & Maggie; Dogs: Chow Chow named Doug & crazy yellow lab Mary Grace.  We also had Bob the fish who ate any fish we tried to put in his tank.  He met his demise when he got wedged in a piece of coral while we were on vacation. 
    
    My sister ran away and came back with a cat who she named pumpkin (the cat is shades of grey and black mind you) and when she left again and pissed off my dad, he changed the cats name to Ed.

    The name because he is kind of gray colored hair as you can see
    and in Hebrow afor means gray.I guess it is not the most original name ,but i'm crazy about that dog. :-)

       I have 3 cats Peaches, Milkweed and Spots.I also have 1 dog named Oscar.
       I used to have a ferret named Slinky. Love all my pets, but Slinky was the funniest! Does Oliver take things and hide them.., Slinky used to be such a pack rat!

    Our dog is a very large (but not fat) Scottie named General.  We got him thru Rocky Mountain Scottish Terrier Club (RMSTC) Rescue.  He is our 4th Scottie in 27 years, and our 2nd from RMSTC Rescue.
    
    At an RMSTC picnic a couple of years ago, General had his picture taken with 2 other Scotties: Colonel & Captain--with owners, of course.
