Today, domesticated rabbits are kept as companion animals. My name is Kate Johnson and I am a rabbit Breeder/Fancier and I know alot about rabbits. Any questions or comments can be given and I will answer. I have been studying Rabbits my entire life as I started out with one, then four, then twenty, and now around eighty. They are my life. Please notify or follow me and talk to me about rabbit behavior, care, and breeds.
    Thank you!

      Ooh, I've got a question.

I've always liked rabbits, but I'm allergic. Are there any hypoallergenic breeds of rabbits? If so, where would I look for them?

        Well Pani,
In my few years of breeding, I have had people ask me this many times.
The answer is actually none. But the ones to give you a little less allergic reaction is the short or smooth haired. They do not need much grooming and they clean them selves easily. Please follow my advice and make sure the parents of the offspring (kits) were never severely sick.
        Thanks for asking!

Thats right. Each rabbit has their own personalities but to recap the breeds like how I say, is you know normal for the breed. Thanks!!! big_smile

I love rabbits. I used to have two and I plan to have more one day when I retire. They are the bestest.

We have two rabbits in the garden in a large hutch and run. We have been told that one of them is over weight. What would you recommend as exercise for them?

can you explain to me how it is that some rabbits like Bugs Bunny can obtain the power of speech, while others seem to be less evolved?

Does the answer lie in environmental factors, breeding, DNA, etc?
