    I have taken a picture of a butterfly that was eating my sunflowers - do you know its name?

      I think its name is Gorgone Checkerspo Butterfly

      ..yep...Small Tortoiseshell...common in Ireland.

        could be called something else too...i just googled 'butterflies in Ireland' and i'm sure i pulled it up...i'll get for you.
