dog in season

    i have a 15month old boxer pup and next door we have 2 bitches in season what can i do to stop mine going mad at the smell ?

      It's probably most kind to neuter him. keep a good eye on him for a few weeks. Dogs will do amazing things to mate, such as break through windows and climb fences.

    Other than moving or neutering hum, not a lot.

    Get him neutered. Otherwise, it's kinda cruel not to let him "visit" the females. Is your pup an inside dog?

    Some don't like to neuter a male dog, but unless you are going to use him for breeding, he should be neutered. He will be a much nicer pet, neutered.
    If you are concerned about his looks (for showing him) vets can do vasectomies - ours did one (un-asked) on our red-point, tabby-striped Siamese male, because the vet felt he was too beautiful to be "cut."
    As well, some breeds are prone to testicular cancer if left un-neutered. My sister lost a lovely dog to that.
