I am thankful for everything I am and all that I have, which is not much, but enough. We shd be happy with what we are able to attain or obtain in life. It's no use being envious of others whom we deem better-off than ourselves. Neither should we be over-ambitious. Striving and doing our best to get ahead is Ok, but in the end we should be content with what we've been able to achieve. This Christmas I am especially thankful for a new grandson.

Are you Jewish? I don't see ham on the list. I have an odd cultural heritage - Maternal side is Native American Choctaw and Paternal side is Irish. Makes for weird traditional dishes involving a lot of meat and potatoes and corn.
But being born in Texas, there is nothing like roasted BBQ meat for the holidays. Not the sauce, just roasted, seasoned meat. Cooked overnight in a smoker. It's the best. It's even available online from the County Line - http://www.airribs.com/?page=shop/bar-b-q or my personal favorite, the Salt Lick - http://www.saltlickbbq.com/menu.html You can't beat the Beef Brisket - tender and melt in your mouth. Goes with any side dish too. Don't cook, just heat it up and serve with your sides.

Bunnies' noses twitch for a number of reasons - they're smelling something, something has taken their interest and just plain bunny behaviour. It's a good thing!!

sometimes they're not made with a genuine desire and motivation to keep the resolution. or there is no plan made on how to keep it going. some people just do it more as a new years ritual rather than a true life goal. a resolution should be something that one can focus and give attention to in order to fulfill the resolution.

Well as the only information I have to go on is your neighbor's age and the fact they love dogs this is not an easy question to answer. Based on what you have told me I would suggest a good book about dogs or a subscription to a dog lovers magazine.
If you are looking for a less expensive gift you may consider a key ring with an ornamental dog on it or coasters with pictures of various different dogs on them.
If you know of any dog shows in your area in the near future you could perhaps buy them tickets to the dog show.
Tickets for any good movies with dogs or a dog as the star of the movie will probably also be welcomed.
If they have dogs you may want to give them a gift certificate from your local dog parlor so that they can have them groomed.
Hope these suggestions were helpful
Laura
