I think Hiedi answered your question about what Going Green means. Pessimists that are ignorant about going green and that dont' care about the environment say it's strictly political. Now in some contexts that is true, and retailers are trying to capitalize on the growing buzz of "going green", The topic has become much more popular in politics just as the healthcare, & unemployment rates have too. The point is, scientists and world leaders all agree that climate change is a real problem, & we need to TAKE ACTION!!( Google Copenhagen or reducing carbon footprint for more literature) It will take time for a world to adjust to a greener plant because most of our top industries would be affected by a change, but there are easy and affordable ways to reduce your carbon footprint. I'm using a fuel additive in my vehicle that is reducing harmful emmssions and saving me money on fuel at the pump. It only cost me $25 for a 2 oz bottle that treats 120 gallons. It's easy and affordable and we all could stand to save money at the pump. Good Question:)

Is America worth dying for? Yes! Our way of life, which includes our system of government is worth preserving at all costs. However, to ask if our government per se is worth dying for, the answer is definitely "No."

I wish I knew the answer to this question. It is certainly unethical. I would have to do some research to see if it is illegal. I would think it goes against the constitution but things get very complicated where state rights are concerned. i don't know why Charlie Rangel isn't in jail. If we didn't pay taxes like he didn't, I'm sure we would have been hauled in by the IRS. Congressment seem to get by with anything they want and where are the consequences? Why don't they have to use the same health care we do? There are many unanswered questions.
I would like to see this brought up to the Attorney General but I think nothing will happen anyway. I have lost my faith in the government.

It is not only legal, but it is very profitable.
Scottish philosopher Alexander Fraser Tytler, writing nearly two hundred years ago about the fall and decline of the Athenian Republic, proclaimed, "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury."
Although Tytler was writing about a great republic that had fallen two thousand years earlier, he could have been predicting the decline and fall of the United States. Can anyone name, in all of Congress, ten senators and representatives who do not campaign on promises of delivering "the bacon" back to their home states or to special interest groups?

Hell no. And neither are most of the people in the U.S. worth dying for. The voters have sold out what the founders fought for. If I could extract myself in good shape from this morass of stupidity and venality, I would do so "in a New York minute". I would laugh all the while the bleating sheeple dove over the cliff following their self-anointed shepherds of BOTH major political parties and most of the minor ones, and the stupid-ass religions as well.
