Easy to Make Birthday Card using a Cricut Machine and Stampin'Up!
Birthday cards are sent all the year through. And everyone likes to received a birthday day, knowing that a special person remembered always makes the birthday even more special.
A homemade birthday card makes that person's day even better. Knowing that the giver not only remember the birthday but took the time to create a special card with a theme, colors, or pictures that the birthday person would like.
A homemade birthday card is not your average run of the mill birthday card because of the special touches that you are able to add when creating the card. Using a Cricut personal cutting machine makes the creation process easy and add to the Cricut the process of stamping with either acrylic or rubber stamps, and you have a one of a kind greeting card.

Step by Step
Cut a piece of patterned cardstock to be 5 1/4" x 4". I chose a yellow & black patterned piece.
Adhere the piece to your base card.
Using the Simply Charmed Cartridge:
Cut one <pumpkin>, pg 60, size 3" using the Layer 1, Shift, and base keyboard key. This will cut out the larger circle (pumpkin).
Cut one <pumpkin>, pg 60, size 2 3/4" using the Layer 1, Shift, and base keyboard key. This will cut out the next size circle (pumpkin).
Cut one <pumpkin>, pg 60, size 2 1/2" using the Layer 1, Shift, and base keyboard key. This will cut out the next size circle (pumpkin).
Cut one <pumpkin>, pg 60, size 2 1/4" using the Layer 1, Shift, and base keyboard key. This will cut out the next to smallest circle (pumpkin).
Cut one <pumpkin>, pg 60, size 2" using the Layer 1, Shift, and base keyboard key. This will cut out the smallest circle.
Adhere the 4 largest circles together, one of top of the other.
Take the smallest circle and on top of a scrap piece of paper, stamp the "Happy Birthday" circular stamp. Using a small sponge, dab it in the black ink and lightly smudge the edges of the stamped circle. Set aside and let dry.
Once it is dry, adhere it to the circle cutouts already done, then adhere the finished piece to the top middle of your card.
By Hand cut 3 rectangles
Size 2 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Size 2 1/2" x 1"
Size 2 1/4" x 3/4"
Adhere the 2 larger rectangles together.
On the smallest rectangle, stamp the "It's our Day!". Set aside and let dry.
Once dry, adhere it to the finished rectangles, then adhere the finished piece to your card.
If you choose, you can take a small stamp and stamp up the sides of your card as I did. I stamped in the ink, then on a scrap piece of paper, then on the card. This way the stamps came out a lighter color.
