Thanksgiving Placecards & Napkin Rings
Make your Thanksgiving table festive by creating matching paper napkin rings and placecards! To make the napkin rings, simply cut 3-4 inches of heavy cardstock and adhere at the edges to make a loop. Buy leaf, pumpkin or turkey diecuts, or make them yourself with your die-cut machine and adhere them to the top of the napkin ring. For placecards, cut a 3x5 piece of heavy cardstock and fold in half. Type or write the name of each individual on the right-hand side of the place card and add your diecut to the left to finish the ensemble.
Wine Charms
Buy 5 or 6 different colored leaf charms or beads and add them to metal goblet rings. Add smaller clear beads on the left and right of each colored focal bead to really make them pop. This will add a little color to your table and also make your wine glasses distinguishable.
Fall Wreath
Grapevine wreaths are usually found at most craft stores in the fall for less than $5.00 Embellishments, or "picks" can also be found for a dollar or less and can easily be attached with craft wire. Wide wire-rimmed ribbon shaped into a bow can be used to offer color and pine cones can complete the look and feel by adding a harvest scent.
Fall Coaster Set
Frosted edge glass coasters are available at craft and scrapbook stores and come with a 3x3" scrapping area for you to add your own embellished page. Adhere different types of leaves to 3x3" blocks of the paper of your choice to make a complete coaster set.
Ceramic tiles and cork boards with Mod Podged scrapbook paper also make great accessories.
Ribbon Wreaths
Buy 5 or 6 different colors of 1/2" orĀ thinnerĀ fall-themed ribbon and tie them around a 8" wired wreath. Leave a 3" tail on each ribbon. Ribbon wreaths make great accessories for jazzing up glass jars filled with Thanksgiving treats, potpourri, or candles.
Fall Bracelet
Use cranberry, brown, green and gold colored crystals to create a beautiful fall bracelet. Complete the look with leaf dangle charms or a large leaf pendent.
Scrapbook Page and Keepsake
Nowadays, there are so many scrapbook supplies on the market that making gorgeous layouts will be a breeze. Choose warm colors for your background and leaf, pumpkin, scarecrow and harvest-themed embellishments to complete the look. Decoupage fall-themed scrapbook paper to the backs of 1" glass magnets. THey will make nice accessories to your refrigerator or bulletin board in the fall months.

Making jack-o-lanters can be messy. Consider painting faces or designs on your pumpkins instead. Using acrylic paints, decorating pumpkins can be a quick and easy project with the kids. Use stencils if you don't feel comfortable free-handing designs.
