Angela, Navneet, thank you both for commenting on my John Ford hub, much appreciated. I've always loved movie poster artwork and these hubs are a good way to showcase some of the best.

A great group of movies and movie posters. When I do a John Ford hub in the future I will be sure to link this most excellent hub to it. My favorite John Ford movies are The Quiet Man, Fort Apache, Mister Roberts and Sentieri Selvaggi(I think The Searchers rings better). As for the posters I would say Rio Grande is my favorite and Mister Roberts is my least favorite....that poster does not stand out at all. Voted up and interesting.

Hello Bruce, thanks for commenting and picking your faves, it is appreciated.

Some films I was spoilt for choice, with Mister Roberts I couldn't find an eyecatching foreign poster and had to use the official poster, at least you can understand the writing on that one. ;)

I'm glad you liked Rio Grande I wos torn between using that or the epic release poster, here's a smaller version, check it out -

I'll save that one for the John Wayne poster hub. :)

Thanks for posting amigo.
