One of Bronsons films still makes my blood run cold... I do not watch his films anymore because of that one... last film of his that I have ever watched. Do not remember the title... but the content had to do with some sicko who killed a man... then cut up the mans Pregnant wife and when she woke up, her dead baby was out and her husbands head had been sewed up inside of her... that was it for me... I do not care what type of rating you put on something like that... it should never have be put on film to begin with.

Great posters, steve. I always liked Bronson. My favorites are Death Wish (1) and Death Hunt, but I see he was in movies I had never heard of. Inspired by your hub I found out he was one of 14 children of Lithuanian parents. Thanks for the great memories. Jeez, if he was alive today he'd have been 90!

MrMaranatha, I'm not familiar with the film you describe, sounds pretty sick, might have been one of the last films he made. Thanks for posting.

Hi Paula, glad you liked the hub and thanks for commenting. I was a big fan of Bronson back in my youth and this is my tribute to him.

UnnamedHarald, thanks for the comment and info, 14 children! I know he was a miner before getting into acting. I read Michael Winner's autobiography and it's full of anecdotes about Charlie.

Bronson was shy and softspoken, during filming of Chato's Land he refused to appear in a scene where his Indian wife was tied to the ground naked, they had to cover her up for him to do the scene.

He also insisted that his wife Jill Ireland appear in many of his films, if she suited the role.

Mhatter99, thanks for commenting, always appreciated.

Excellent hub on one of your favorite actors...I see you found a Magnificent Seven hub that shows not only Yul Brynner but Eli Wallach as well.

I think the best Bronson film is Once Upon A Time In The West...and the poster is a winning poster as well. As the movies get newer...it appears that three things were required in the poster....Bronson....mustache....and a gun in his hands.

I think the Chino poster has the best artwork of his movies...but that is just my humble opinion.

Another winning hub in your series....job well done.....but where is the Bruce Willis one?...lol.

Hello Bruce, welcome to my Hub of Bronson, your comment is appreciated.

Bruce Willis is on the poster waiting list but not just yet.

I got rid of some of Bronsons early films because he only had a minor role and Kid Galahad wasn't going to make it either until I found the lobby card and in it went.

Once Upon a Time in the West is a classic Bronson film, I love that poster.

Thanks for posting.

Hi Steve; Good old Chuck Bronson. One of my old roommates was a huge Bronson fan so I had to watch all the 'Death Wish' films, even the later, bad ones. My favorite of his is "Magnificent 7".

Fun hub. Great work gathering the photos,

Rob
